Several years ago I was a little ball of muscle with the “ideal” body.

And while I looked “the part” on the outside, on the inside there was chaos:
- I didn’t have a period
- I was infertile
- My bone and heart health were compromised
- I felt like crap, needing 3 DOUBLE espressos to get through the day (and even then I usually needed 1-2 power naps and a long 9 hour sleep overnight)
- My skin and eyes were dull and lifeless
- Libido? What libido?
I had something called “hypothalamic amenorrhea” which was caused by not eating enough for the amount of exercise I was doing, having insufficient body fat and being crazy, Type-A, perfectionist, stress-head (and proud of it).
I was advised by medical professionals that I would not be able to fall pregnant naturally.
I would need to go down the IVF route. I refused to accept this (I’m stubborn as a mule) and instead went head down, bum up into the research and figured out how to heal myself through changing my diet, exercise and mindset (with a whole lot of self-love thrown in for good measure).
Fast forward a few years and I now have a beautiful 9 month old daughter – conceived 100% naturally!
I’m happy to report that I have replicated this success with many of my clients – some wanting to fall pregnant and being able to do so, others just wanting to get their hormones back on track for optimal health and happiness. Nothing floats my boat more than seeing women thrive!
